ColorType ("we", "us") operates the free personality assessment at personality-test-free.com. This policy explains what data we process, why, and the choices you have. We collect as little as possible and never sell your data.
What we collect
- Quiz answers & result. Your responses are used to compute your color profile. Once your full report is generated, the raw answers are deleted; the computed result (color percentages, primary/secondary type) is retained so your result link keeps working.
- Email address — only if you give it. You may optionally leave an email to save your result or to receive your purchased report. We store it solely for that purpose. We do not require an account.
- Payment information. If you buy a report, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — only a confirmation that payment succeeded and the billing email Stripe provides.
- Technical data. Your IP address is used transiently to estimate your country (to show the right currency) and to rate-limit abuse. We do not build advertising profiles from it.
How your answers are processed
To write your personalized report, your computed profile and answer patterns are sent to a third-party AI processing partner (such as OpenAI or Google) strictly to generate the report text. They are not used by us to identify you, and we do not attach your email to that processing.
Cookies & analytics
- Essential cookies. A small cookie remembers your language and which page layout you were shown. These are required for the site to work.
- Analytics / advertising. We use Google's tag (gtag.js) to measure visits and ad performance. If you are in a region that requires consent for analytics, you can block these via your browser or an extension; the assessment works without them.
Who we share data with
Only the processors needed to run the service: Stripe (payments), Google (analytics/ads), and an AI provider (report generation). Each acts under its own privacy terms. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
How long we keep it
Result data is kept so your shareable result link continues to work. Email addresses are kept until you ask us to remove them. You can request deletion of your result and any associated email at any time.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. To do so, contact us with your result link (the /r/... URL) so we can locate it.
